We know that you have many choices when it comes to aligning with professional associations that provide you with strategic benefits and partnerships. Membership to NYSSOS is paramount as the Society works on your behalf to address the challenges facing you, your practice and our specialty.
NYSSOS recognizes your time is limited and that is why we want your membership to be as accessible as possible.
1. You do not have to attend the annual meeting or participate in-person events to get the full value of membership. You can access it at the comfort of your office or home by using our web based services - such as responding to important advocacy and regulatory Calls to Action, attending educational webinars, networking with colleagues via our social media outlets, accessing practice management information from the website. There is dedicated member support available by phone and email and you should feel free to call upon the Society when you are in need.
2. Already a member of another medical society? Many of our members are. NYSSOS collaborates with many organizations that all offer various benefits to their members. Our Society is specifically structured to act on legislation and regulations that effect orthopaedic practice in New York; support activities that create optimal practice environments; provide direct access to practice resources and legal counsel services; and host interactive events that foster professional and personal development. Renewing will provide additional value to you, your practice and patients.
3. If someone else in your practice is already a member, please know that the value of membership resides with the individual - such as the ability to participate in orthopaedic society leadership, theability to impact the profession, and the opportunity for individual recognition.
