We recognize balancing family and work commitments can be challenging. Plan to bring your family to this year's meeting and enjoy all Westchester has to offer.

This year's meeting will feature our traditional clinical sessions to help you learn how to optimize patient care, and business management strategies to augment and improve your practice. New themes this year include artificial intelligence.

We are proud to host COL. Laura Dawson, DO, who will discuss advancements in treating war injuries.

You'll also have an opportunity to submit a challenging case for group discussion.

We are pleased to support and foster resident and fellow research with time set for oral and poster presentations as well as a dedicated educational track on career planning and how to pay down debts.

Learning Objectives

  • To identify challenging conditions in the traumatized patient and the optimization of their care. Such objectives would also apply with patients with conditions of hand, foot/ankle, spine, hip and knee.

  • To identify and apply best practices in the discipline of sports medicine at the collegiate and professional levels.

  • To review and discuss key new technologies to augment and improve the delivery of procedural and clinical care to the orthopaedic patient in areas of shoulder, nerve,spine, foot and ankle.

  • To better understand the current and future role of artificial intelligence in management of orthopaedic patients. To better understand the changing requirements and goals of board certification.

Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists is accredited by The Medical Society of the State of New York to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists designates this live lecture program for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists (BOC AP# P10096) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers. This program is eligible for a maximum of 8 Category A hours/CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.

Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Physical Therapy as an approved provider of physical therapy and physical therapist assistant continuing education. This program is eligible for a maximum of 9.6 contact hours. Participants should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.

Refund Policy

A handling fee of $25 is deducted for cancellation. Refund requests must be received by mail or email one week prior to the course. No refund will be made thereafter.

On-Site Registration

For on-site registration, add $25 to the appropriate category above (available only if space permits–please call first). Please note: Registration will not be processed unless accompanied by payment.
