By participating in the NYSSOS/MLMIC Patient Safety Program, participants will earn up to  be able to identify risks associated with nerve injuries in joint replacement orthopedic surgical cases in the office, surgical and postoperative settings.

Orthopaedists, Physician Assistants, Anesthesiologists, Nurses, Risk Managers, Orthopaedic Practice Managers

The educational event will:

  • Provide guidance for appropriate patient selection to improve outcomes.
  • Empower healthcare organizations to enhance the patient experience and obtain benchmark performance.
  • Enable orthopedic surgeons to reduce complications, whereby decreasing rates of nerve injury associated with total joint replacements.
  • Bridge the gap between institutions and providers by recognizing and sharing best practices.
