Despite increasing representation of women in medicine and orthopaedics, many continue to face barriers to leadership advancement, visibility, and career development. While mentorship provides valuable guidance, sponsorship creates opportunities by actively advocating for and elevating emerging leaders. This District 1 and District 3 event aims to foster meaningful discussion around the role of sponsorship in orthopaedics and provide practical insights for building a more inclusive and supportive professional community.
