Updates on Pain Control in Orthopedic Surgical Patients
9:20 AM |
Session Description
The type of anesthesia along with regional nerve blocks and adjunctive medications can influence the outcome of surgery, patient participation in early rehabilitation, and facilitate early discharge after surgery. Using anesthetic techniques to decrease postoperative pain and decrease nausea (even after discharge) will reflect positively on the surgeon.
