Session Description
Advances in targeted therapies have altered the oncology landscape profoundly. The prevalence of persons living with metastatic carcinomas has increased while mortality rates decreased over the past several decades due to many of these advances. Concurrently, we must adapt our surgical management of patients with improved survival and functional outcomes.

Biography Anna Cooper is an orthopaedic oncologist specializing in pediatric and adult care. She is a member of the American Orthopaedic Association, Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, and the Children’s Oncology Group. She has published on patient-reported outcomes and is currently investigating practice patterns related to pathologic fractures and advancing evidence based geriatric fragility fracture initiatives in the Hudson Valley region. |
