Learning Objectives

  • To identify challenging conditions in the traumatized patient and the optimization of their care. Such objectives would also apply with patients with conditions of hand, foot/ankle, spine, hip and knee.

  • To identify and apply best practices in the discipline of sports medicine at the high school, collegiate and professional levels.

  • To review and discuss Orthopaedics response to the pandemic and how to address future public health crises as well as the implementation of adaptations to the delivery of healthcare.

  • To review and discuss mental health concerns in orthopaedic providers (physicians, extended health care providers) and strategies to identify and treat these conditions.
